How to Play

Fast-paced bullet hell survival with PvP.

Not a full manual — enough to survive the first fights.

Blastar is a fast-paced, browser-based bullet-hell shooter with PvP. Every match is server-authoritative, which means hits, reflections, and kills are decided on the server — clients stay in sync even when latency spikes. The first few minutes teach you the controls; the rest is about reading patterns and managing your loadout.

Controls

Two control schemes are supported and switched automatically by device.

You pick a mode in the start dialog. All three modes share the same gameplay; they only change how rooms are matched.

FAQ

Do I need to install anything?

No. Blastar runs in modern desktop and mobile browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox). No install, no plugin, no account.

Does it cost money?

No. Blastar is free to play. Ads may appear; there are no in-game purchases.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. Pick "Create private room", choose a room code and password, and send both to your friend. They open the start dialog, pick "Join with code", and enter the same pair.

Why did my preview session disconnect?

The live world preview shown behind the start dialog closes after long inactivity. Reload the page to reconnect — your nickname and language preference are remembered locally.

How are records ranked?

There are three boards: Best scores (peak score per session), Boss kills (per boss type), and Best killer (PvP eliminations). All entries are from live runs and may be removed if they appear to come from cheating, abuse, or technical error.
