Fair Play and Rankings Policy

Last updated: May 7, 2026

This policy describes how Blastar handles fair play and public rankings. It is intentionally public so moderation standards are predictable.

1) Fair Play Principles

  • Matches should reward skill and adaptation.
  • Client modifications that produce unfair outcomes are prohibited.
  • Public boards should reflect legitimate live play.

2) Abuse Examples

  • Botting, scripted combat automation, or unfair macro behavior.
  • Modified clients altering hit, invulnerability, or ranking writes.
  • Packet replay, flooding, or intentional room disruption.

3) Boards Covered

  • Best scores: highest peak score in a live session.
  • Boss kills: boss-type kill counts from live play.
  • Best killer: PvP eliminations from live play.

4) Entry Adjustment

Entries may be removed or corrected when there is reasonable evidence of cheating, severe exploitation, or technical corruption.

5) Requesting Correction

Submit requests through Contact with nickname, time, board type, and available supporting evidence.
